For many system-involved youth, 2020 was a year of unprecedented personal challenges. Some of those experiences were traumatizing while others were strengthening and rewarding. But as the pandemic has separated people from friends, loved ones and community services, it has also separated people from the rituals used to mark and honor important life events. This experience gives newly deepened insights to the challenges of system involved youth. The aim of this workshop is to develop new ways to process the challenges we and they have faced, acknowledge the impacts they have on their lives, and connect with the personal growth they have enabled.
