This session is intended for resource parents of foster children in Alameda County.

This training will provide a strengths based approach to identifying, exploring, and understanding the behaviors of children in our care. Trainer and participants will explore and develop strategies to address and manage challenging behaviors to increase family stability. As trauma and loss have become normal experiences in the lives of children in care. It is important for those caring for them to understand how to look beyond everyday behaviors and begin to understand how those behaviors are rooted in trauma.
