Online Training

This highly interactive and informative cultural competency training supports service providers in deepening their understanding of gender, with an emphasis on creating affirming spaces within the provider/client dyad and within social service, health, and employment systems, as well as identifying barriers to accessing services for trans and gender expansive clients. Through self-reflection, group discussion, and roleplay, attendees will become more comfortable sharing and correcting pronouns, learn about outcomes for trans and gender expansive children seeking social, medical, and/or legal transition. Participants will explore how to support children, caregivers, and other providers with gender questioning and gender creative children, and generate best practices they can use in their workplace context to support T/GE people.
