Foster Care Training

In this training, participants will gain a brief introduction to the world of art support strategies, art as therapy, expressive arts support techniques, transformative storytelling and art and consciousness, with the goal of whetting their curiosity and enthusiasm for the inclusion of the arts and play within therapeutic processes. The participant will be introduced to multicultural approaches to using art in individual family and group settings, with an emphasis on art as a language of the heart and a healing for Title IV-E youth with traumatic injuries to their psyches.
