Resource parents have the difficult task of creating a safe, stable, caring place for children in the foster care system to feel at home and at ease. On top of that already complex responsibility, many resource parents are also faced with the task of maintaining balance in their home so that their own biological children do not feel left out. Resource parents walk a fine line between including foster children while still providing for biological children’s needs. This training will address this need and provide tools and strategies for communicating and preparing your family for this transition.
