System-involved youth have many risk factors that place them at risk for exploitation in both the workplace and the commercial sex industry. As we learn more about human trafficking, it’s important that we talk about groups that are disproportionately impacted by it. Immigrant minors have many vulnerabilities that place them at significant risk for trafficking so it’s imperative to learn about this topic and it’s relevance for youth in the system. In this training, you’ll learn about risk factors for immigrant minors, barriers to seeking services, and supporting system-involved immigrant minors.
