While sexual assault and sex trafficking happen to people of all racial and ethnic groups, some groups are disproportionately impacted. This training will discuss how historical oppression impacts the disproportionately we see in the current day. This knowledge is crucial for social service providers given how many system-involved youth have experienced sexual assault. Participants will also learn how to approach youth, families and communities in culturally competent ways.
