Foster Care Training

This training is for providers who work with system impacted youth. Eligible participants are Alameda county providers, Teachers, Case Managers, and After School Support Staff. In this training, the facilitator will provide information about tools and strategies to develop lasting, supportive relationships with system impacted youth. Trainer will facilitate interactive group discussions and provide case examples to allow participants to explore various approaches to building rapport, offering support, and empowering youth to thrive. By focusing on trust-building, effective communication, and understanding the systemic factors that impact youth, participants will dive into the essential components of creating safe and nurturing environments that foster positive youth development.
