Foster Care Training

This training will support participants in exploring strategies and practices for fostering affirming and inclusive spaces for queer and trans youth. Participants will learn definitions related to gender identity and sexual orientation while examining the reality of current experiences of queer and trans youth within systems of care. Through videos, discussion, scenario practice, and journal reflection, participants will explore both individual and institutional practices that affirm and support queer and trans youth that are system-involved or at high risk of being system-involved.
