Understanding Trauma, Secondary Trauma, and its effects to the clinician and the impact to services provided to children and families is cyclical unless addressed. How do therapist bring their best work? Exploration and understanding of Secondary Trauma is fundamental and necessary in order to provide solid therapeutic services to children in the welfare system. Participants will learn strategies and resources to increase resiliency and combat secondary trauma to increase support for children and families.
