This course will introduce attendees to ancient and cross-cultural practices of dream telling as a means of transmitting generational wisdom, exploring self-inquiry and inspiring communal connection. Attendees will learn a variety of dream recall methods and active imagination processes that can support system-involved youth in connecting to their creativity and developing self-awareness. This experiential training will explore unconscious symbolism, narrative storytelling, and creative embodiment as resources to assist foster and system involved youth in understanding their emotions and the language of their inner self. Supplies needed: paper/journal, pen, color pencils/markers, drawing paper, or copy paper. Any other art supplies you have on hand.
