This workshop will serve as an introduction to the use of trauma-informed expressive arts practices in community-based settings. The goal of this training is to provide clinicians with an enhanced ability to engage and support youth and families in a culturally-responsive, trauma-informed manner. The use of expressive arts practices may also be supportive in cultivating resiliency and emotional regulation in clients, as well as lessening the impact of vicarious trauma and burnout among clinicians.
