Participants will learn trauma-informed theoretical and practical strategies for bringing visual art into their work with youth and families through a combination of didactic and participatory learning. The course will also provide an overview of how to use and understand visual art as an assessment tool, coping and resilience skill, and trauma processing mechanism.
