This 3 hour course will cover tools on how to engage caregivers in suicide safety planning for the children and youth in their care. We will discuss how to teach caregivers how to recognize signs and symtoms of suicidality in the youth in their care and what steps to take to establish safety. Information and skills will be discussed and strengthened through lecture, handouts, and small group work.
