Foster Care Training

Trauma does not occur in isolation—it is shaped by culture, identity, and community context. This session examines how cultural beliefs, values, and historical experiences influence the way youth and families understand, express, and heal from trauma. Participants will deepen their cultural humility and learn practical tools for integrating culturally responsive, trauma-informed care when working with foster and justice-involved youth from diverse backgrounds.
