“Training Summary: Given the disproportionate number of youth of color in the foster care and juvenile justice systems, it’s imperative for social service providers to provide culturally relevant services. This webinar will explore cultural perspectives on trauma, healing, and resiliency. With a greater cultural understanding of these concepts, providers will be able to increase their engagement with system-involved youth and families in more culturally meaningful ways. Participants will be able to: -Discuss the importance of understanding through a cultural lens. -Identify at least 2 ways culture impacts healing. -Facilitate discussions with youth about culture.
