In this workshop, participants will learn culturally sensitive and appropriate strategies when working with Asian youth and families. Participants will be introduced to the Cultural Humility framework and use this lens to engage in critical self-reflection of participants’ own cultural values and beliefs, acknowledging Asian American/Pacific Islander communities and their unique historical experience with mental health services. All activities will build on participants’ own knowledge, expertise, and lived experience.
