Foster Care Training

This training will teach about various evidence-based approaches for managing anxiety around the transitions for children in care. Explore strategies for coping with expectations and create a structure for youth in order to ease the emotional impact of transitioning back to learning environments. Discuss and explore applicable directives to ground transitional dialogues through an arts-based perspective as the new instruction schedule begins. Draws upon the work of the American Institutes for Research and Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning (CASEL).
