This training will teach about various evidence-based approaches for managing anxiety around the transitions for children in care and explore strategies for coping with expectations and creating a structure for children in order to ease the emotional impact of transitioning back to learning environments. Participants will discuss and explore applicable directives to ground transitional dialogues through an arts-based perspective as the academic year begins.
