In this training we will discuss a caregiver’s perspective on navigating the special education system. This training will provide examples for how caregivers can apply advocacy skills to help navigate complex systems to support youth needs. The training will review a case example of a youth with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Participants will have an opportunity to share their understanding of the material and to ask questions of the trainer.
