Foster Care Training

Through this training you will be able to define conflict and describe some of the dynamics including myths and truths about conflict, provide examples of situations where conflict resolution skills will be needed in your role as a treatment parent, identify your strengths, weaknesses and general approach toward conflict management, describe five styles of conflict management along with the associated outcomes, and identify the situations to which there are best suited, list the advantages and disadvantages of different approaches to conflict and demonstrate the conflict resolution technique through role play.
