This In Person training @ Alameda County Family Justice Center – 470 27th St. in Oakland begins with an overview of issues faced by the LGBTQ+ community such as discrimination and the overrepresentation of LGBTQ+ youth in the Foster Care and Juvenile Justice systems. Look at risk factors & pathways of entry into sexual exploitation and commercial sexual exploitation for LGBTQ+ youth. Focus on experiences of LGBTQ in the commercial sex industry. Strategies to more effectively work with Foster Care and Juvenile Justice involved LGBTQ+ youth with experiences in the commercial sex industry will be provided. Please register at: [email protected]
