The COVID-19 Pandemic and Shelter in Place orders has created new challenges for providers working with foster youth. Providers are strategizing new ways to build connections and rapport with youth using various methods including technology and telehealth. From this workshop, providers will go over case planning and learning new communication strategies for working with youth and children during a pandemic. Providers will learn how to support foster youth while minimizing the impact of trauma as youth transition into placement.
