The focus of this training is to assist BIPOC Youth Care Workers is pushing past barriers and a resiliency mindset into a thriving mindset. This workshop will use skills taught by previous trainings offered by Kaelly & Brandon to help participants fully realize a pathway to their goals. Participants will develop a multidimensional perspective of themselves as person so that they can understand their own goals and understand how to connect with others around those goals. The training will focus on different forms of “bridges” (interpersonal connections) and how building bridges with others can create opportunities. How to identify types of bridges that promote one’s authenticity and how to promote oneself through those bridges to network not just for one’s own goals but for the betterment of the youth we work with. Empowering participants so they may empower the youth they work with.
