Training Summary: Body dysphoria occurs when individuals are preoccupied with perceived imperfections with their appearance. It can lead to increased anxiety, eating disorders, depression, etc. Trauma impacts the relationship one has with their body and can enhance one’s negative relationship with one’s body. This training will provide an overview of body dysphoria and strategies to support system-involved youth struggling with it. Participants will be able to: -Identify at least 1 component of body dysmorphia. -Identify at least 1 impact body dysmorphia has on youth. -Describe at least 1 strategy to support youth with body dysmorphia
