COVID is still making an imprint on our culture and, with how clinicians deliver mental health services. We are still in the infancy stage of effectively providing services which can be both an exciting and frustrating time. Clinicians need more clinical tools that equip them to making meaningful change with clients virtually. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) strategies for clinicians provide them with confidence and expand the clinical acumen virtually and in-person. This training offers participants the opportunity to deepen their understanding of dialectical thinking and how it benefits their clients across age, culture, identity, race, and gender. Dialectical thinking and strategies help clinicians identify clients’ patterns of ineffective behaviors (including thoughts and emotions) and create new effective patterns. This training is critical for clinicians serving clients who are in the child welfare system and/or probation system.
