Virtual Instructor Led Training

In this training we will first discuss how foster youth with autism are impacted within the child welfare system. This training will also provide considerations to providers around understanding these youth’s needs. There will be opportunity to discuss autism and how youth’s needs manifest differently when exposed to trauma, maltreatment and other adverse childhood experiences. We will present recent research findings and their applications.
