Participants are provided with information about several types of attachment-promoting activities that can be used to develop healthy relational templates, resilience and counterbalance the effects of abuse on the children’s pattern of attachment. Each of the practices delineated provides an opportunity to interrupt the mutigenerational transmission process of developmental trauma through physiological and emotional changes to the child or youth resulting in improved coping strategies and availability for learning.
