This course if the follow-up session for the May 24th course. This section will focus on disrupting the status quo of white supremacy and white supremacy culture. Myth busting – model minority, colorblindness, meritocracy, objectivity, melting pot, and reverse racism. This 2-hour course will examine practical application of these concepts in our work in child welfare and in our communities. Participants are encouraged to bring case examples, questions, and resources related to our previous discussion to further examine the concepts covered.
