Participants will have an opportunity to reflect on ways that supervision of youth professionals can be used as an anti-oppressive practice to increase equity in service delivery to youth and family. This training will include tools to assess and grow as a supervisor as well as tools to use in supervision to facilitate conversations and interventions described in Dr. Ken Hardy’s book, “Promoting Cultural Sensitivity in Supervision.” Participants will have an opportunity to practice these skills through a series of vignettes and discussions and will gain working knowledge of concrete tools to implement in individual and group supervisions after completing this training.
