Collaborative Problem Solving is a two part training. You must be present at both Part 1 and Part 2. Each part is 1.5 hours in length.
Collaborative Problem Solving is an evidence based practice intended to help adults who work with kids with challenging behavior. It is based on the idea that kids who have challenging behavior lack certain social or emotional skills that make it difficult for them to meet our expectations. This method will help kids build those skills so they can be more successful in the classroom, and in their lives.
This training is intended for those that work with children and youth within the child welfare system or are at-risk of entering. This includes child welfare workers, resource parents, youth sports coaches, youth mentors, teachers and volunteers/staff working with this population.
