This training explores the use of the social and emotional learning framework to support youth in care to develop self-awareness, self-management, and interpersonal skills. Participants will gain insights into how these skills help youth in care build resilience and establish healthier relationships. This training introduces creative arts-based strategies for enhancing well-being. Through discussion, reflection, and hands-on activities, participants will learn how SEL principles can be integrated into everyday practices to support physical and emotional regulation. The course will provide practical methods to calm the mind and body, with a focus on the role of creativity in physical and emotional regulation.
