Foster Care Training

In this two-part training, participants will learn how to support children who are experiencing toxic stress and complex trauma through play-based connection, while strategically making stakeholders an integral and informed part of the process. Participants will walk away with a deeper understanding of play-based connection, resources on how to build a customized and impactful action plan, and innovative play-based techniques for working with system- involved families. Participants will explore play-based techniques that support kids as they help them facilitate emotional expression and build resilience and adaptive coping skills.
