Foster Care Training

This training is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to support neurodivergent clients experiencing sensory processing differences, particularly those related to emotional blindness and the brain’s perception of the body’s state. Participants will explore the underpinnings of sensory processing and interoceptive awareness, as well as the practical implications for inclusive support. By engaging with current research, diverse lived experiences and case studies, attendees will develop a better understanding of sensory strategies that can support and empower neurodivergent individuals. The training will emphasize the importance of sensory-friendly environments and adaptive strategies to enhance well-being and practical outcomes.
