Sexual abuse of youth with disabilities is rarely talked about despite it’s prevalence. This is problematic given how many system-involved youth have disabilities. It’s crucial for social service providers to learn about this topic so they can intervene on a preventative basis as well as to intervene if the youth has been abused.
