Native women and girls experience sexual violence and domestic violence at a disproportionate rate. It’s important for social service and care providers to be knowledgeable about this. There is a disproportionate number of Native girls involved in the child welfare system. Participants will explore tools to support and understand women and girls experiencing violence through a historical lens.
