This training in Spanish will provide proper clinical language as the following topics are covered. Knowledge and skills of how to close the gap for parents who were born and raised in Latin countries and have youth who were born in the United States and have separated from them due to their loss of language and culture. Participants will gain awareness of this issue and will be able to learn interventions to close this gap. Participants will also be learning how generational trauma has contributed to depression, anxiety and other mental health disorders in children, youth in care/clients and their families. Participants will learn interventions to work on these issues and will gain awareness of their own upbringing.
