Parents and caregivers play a crucial role in the lives of system-involved youth and it’s crucial to support them in increasing their understanding of trauma. This training will provide an overview of trauma for parents that will include what trauma is, how trauma impacts youth and strategies to support youth who are traumatized. The training will also touch on the resiliency of traumatized youth. The training will be provided in English and Spanish for bilingual providers.
