Foster Care Training

This course will offer providers a framework of understanding traumatic impact in terms of youth entering a milieu setting. Participants will be able to identify and understand the behaviors and trauma responses a youth may exhibit. Through facilitated discussions, providers will strategize with their teams on how to interpret behaviors of youth experiencing complex trauma and expanding practices that build a more attuned and responsive milieu environment. Providers will acquire tools to promote the safety of youth in a milieu setting.
