Foster Care Training

This training is designed for mental health and social service professionals working with youth and families. Given the diversity that exists within the United States, it’s essential to understand our cultural heritage as well as our client’s. Many times, one’s culture can be overlooked in treatment, which becomes barriers in engaging the youth and their families. The training will be include large group discussion, lecture, videos, and reflective journaling.
