Foster Care Training

This course will offer professionals working with system-involved youth an opportunity to develop a greater understanding and perspective of the needs of autistic and other neurodivergent youth in their care and how best to meet them respectfully. We will engage a variety of practical and useful direct support skills beneficial for professionals to use to aid neurodiverse youth and their family systems to be safe and successful. Thirdly, we will learn to assist system-involved youth to self-advocate for their needs in different settings.
