Online Class

This training uses a historical orientation to assist caregivers of foster youth in developing a culturally responsive approach to caring for culturally diverse foster youth. This training seeks to generate understanding regarding cultural and social identity and child development for youth of color in out of home placement and examine the importance of taking culture and history into consideration. Caregivers will build awareness and learn skills to support the ability to positively impact the cultural identity development for youth of color in out of home placement.
