This training proposes a way of thinking about and approaching the work from a collaborative perspective. Participants will learn about the assumptions that guide Narrative practices and how those ideas were generated through literature pertaining to feminist theory, cultural anthropology, philosophy and folk psychology. The various maps of Narrative practice will be discussed and their use demonstrated. Key concepts including externalizing problems, outsider witnessing, intentional states, re-membering, and paying attention to the absent but implicit will be defined and demonstrated.
