Foster Care Training

Cultural Awareness will define and explore what culture is and how it impacts children in care. This training will also explore & discuss various ways to become more culturally sensitive to the children in our resource homes. Trauma Competent Caregiving will discuss trauma and how it affects children in care. It will also provide caregivers tools to help the children in their home thrive. Self care will also be discussed in an effort to foster resiliency for our resource parents.
