Foster Care Training

Sensory processing challenges can be a result of trauma and/or organic impairment. Children and youth who are or have been living in foster care may have one or both of these risk factors. Some may be identified as being on the autism spectrum; others may be known to be trauma survivors; and many struggle with attention and disruptive behaviors. This training offers experiential sensory awareness activities including art making, indoor and outdoor movement and breathing.
