This DSM-5 course is designed to explain how mental health diagnoses are determined and inform work with individuals who have a mental health diagnosis. In the course participants will learn about the history of mental health diagnoses, how a diagnosis is determined and specifics about DSM-5 diagnoses that are frequently used with youth and individuals with chronic mental illness and substance use disorders.
