It’s a fact that early intervention and prevention can reduce the negative impacts of drug abuse and most experts agree that brain science education is an effective place to begin. In young people especially, heavy drug use could have catastrophic lifelong negative effects. When practitioners understand and believe in high leverage strategies to prevent and treat substance abuse disorder then they have increased the probability of their success with a challenging population. Goals: to provide practitioners with engaging and effective prevention and treatment tools to support their clients to avoid the trappings of drug addiction and live successful lives.
