During and after stressful and/or traumatic crisis situations, our nervous system goes into a fight or flight/sympathetic dominant state. Using simple techniques from verbal first aid, energy medicine and energy psychology, participants will learn to regulate stress responses in themselves and their clients. Material will be taught through lecture, demonstrations, and dyadic practice.

**Participants can utilize skills after the course by:
  1. Practice Energy Medicine and Energy Psychology techniques with themselves and their colleagues.
  2. Teach EM or EP techniques to clients in child welfare.
