Foster Care Training

Foster children who come into resource families may be traumatized from their environments or may have just experienced being removed from another resource family. Early onset of mental illnesses may also play a part in their reactions to their trauma. This training will help participants understand various mental illnesses and provide examples of how the child’s behavior may look like in the home. This training will teach participants how to incorporate a child with a high level of needs into their home during the holidays.
