This all day training lays a strong foundation for all professionals and peers working in the publicly funded social services. Attendees learn about trauma, PTSD, complex trauma and how to identify the clients’ most pressing need. Research, federal initiatives and local efforts will be reviewed. Practice addressing safety issues will conclude the day.
